About Matt Cave Johnson

I am a native Texan born and raised!  Currently living in Minnesota. Life has taken me beyond Texas at times in my life but that has never taken the Texas out of me. I still stay close to my Texas Country/Red Dirt roots while at the same time infusing sounds from other parts of the country I have been. Writing and recording is great for inspiration but being out playing live is what keeps the music flowing. Every time you play you never know what is going to happen or where the music may take you.

I am so happy to be out booking live solo gigs in Minnesota and surrounding areas. There are so many great little venues to play here and so many great people to meet. From the many vineyards to breweries and many small town bars. Minnesota Rocks! So we’ll see y’all out there for a party!
